PPE signs act as reminders for workers and visitors to wear appropriate safety gear before accessing hazard-prone areas or performing dangerous tasks. These signs alert workers about exercising caution and help prevent work-related illnesses and injuries while also communicating employer commitment to worker safety.
You may choose from our multi-hazard PPE signs that are designed specifically for this purpose. These signs use both text and symbols and can convey anywhere from two to twelve PPE requirements in a single sign.
Our SlipSafe™ 18 mil thick anti-skid vinyl PPE floor signs feature an enclosed grit top surface that helps prevent slips and skids. These come with a permanent adhesive backing and are perfect for use on smooth floors.
It can be quickly done by opting for a custom PPE sign. Our customizable PPE sign templates are available in danger, caution, and warning templates that you can add your message to and choose the appropriate symbol or symbols. Other customizable PPE signs and stencils are also available. Our custom signs are easy to create on your own. You may also contact our customer care for any help.
PPE signs should not be installed immediately next to the hazard that warrants PPE usage as it might defeat the very purpose of this safety equipment. Install these signs near the hazard such that these convey the warning while also allowing workers the opportunity to wear the equipment before coming in close contact with the hazard. These signs should be conspicuously placed, with no obstructions such as opening doors or windows, hanging objects, etc., blocking the view.
This is possible with some of our PPE signs, like this one. You will see a Spanish option just below the sign image on the left side of the product page, selecting which will change the language of the sign. The Spanish version of the sign can also be seen under the ‘Select Design’ option. You may also choose the bilingual version of the sign from ‘Select Design’
